ContentsBrethren of Lechmere Volunteer Lodge No 1874 also meet socially to have fun, enjoy good company and to raise funds for the Almoner. One of these meetings and the major event of our Masonic calendar is of course the Ladies Evening Festival. This Festival gives the brethren of the Lodge an opportunity to thank their Ladies for allowing them to disappear while learning ritual or attending meetings. The theme of the Festival for 2008 is a Masquerade Ball where Ladies are invited to wear a mask to match their dress and the gentlemen to wear a black or white one. The Festival is held at Moseley Masonic Hall, and is if course a black tie event, this gives everyone the opportunity to put on their best bib and tucker and have an enjoyable evening.
