Lechmere Volunteer Lodge No1874 Ladies Night Festival Charity Donation 2017

Lechmere Volunteer Lodge held their annual Ladies Evening Festival on Saturday 8th April and a Charity Appeal took place for the Worshipful Master’s wife Lynne on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis Society and the CyberKnife and TomoTherapy Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The appeal raised a grand total of £880.00 of which £440.00 was donated to each charity.

The Worshipful Master Neil Harris and his wife Lynne together with the Lodge Charity Steward Bro. Dave Thomas and Bro. Nick White who organised the visit had the pleasure on Tuesday 16th of May after having had a demonstration of the workings of the CyberKnife machine in presenting the cheque for £440.00 to Rosemary Simmons CyberKnife Lead Radiographer on behalf of the CyberKnife and TomoTherapy Unit (pictured second from the right) who thanked the Lodge for their generous donation which was gratefully received.

Also, a letter has been received from the Multiple Sclerosis Society thanking the Lodge for the generous donation of £440.00 in supporting their Charity.

The Ladies Evening Festival also held a raffle and raised £500.00 which was donated to          PGL Worcestershire 2022 Festival Appeal which supports Local Charities.
